Instructions for use and maintenance

To take care of your bag and ensure its longevity, we recommend that you follow these tips:

• Protect it from moisture, and avoid contact with water, grease and greasy substances such as cosmetics or perfumes.
• Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces that could scratch or mar your leather and metal parts. Be especially careful not to scratch it with your nails.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to heat or intense light sources.
• If possible, avoid rubbing dark-colored clothing on light-colored bags to limit any risk of color bleeding onto your bag.
• Remember to store it in its protective pouch to protect it from light when not in use. You can also stuff it with tissue paper to help it retain its shape. Never place it in a plastic bag.

If you do happen to get it dirty or wet, especially if it gets wet, simply use a soft, clean, and light-colored cloth to wipe it. Our leathers have all been pre-treated, so there's no need to waterproof your bag immediately after purchase. They're also all quite durable, especially grained leather, which doesn't scratch easily.
