This episode will take you on a sacred journey. Or rather, a sacred journey, as Anne Ghesquière so aptly explains. Her wonderful podcast, Métamorphose, introduced me to our guest of the day: Céline Tadiotto.
Sometimes we feel hindered in our lives. As if held back. Blocked. Prevented from moving forward. We know how to consciously address some of these obstacles. We know perfectly well how to say that because we've had a disastrous professional or romantic experience, embarking on the next one is complicated. But there are obstacles that are much more subtle. Almost inexplicable. Barely palpable. Even difficult to reach, sometimes. And that's perfectly normal, because these obstacles are part of our unconscious and, in fact, they don't belong to us. We inherited them from our mothers, our grandfathers, our ancestors. We call them unconscious family loyalties. They sometimes date back a very long time, but their effects still reverberate today. And we all carry this family history within us, without realizing it. For better, but also for worse. And it is at the heart of the work of psychogenealogy, which seeks to unravel the knots of the past to free the present.
So if this is the first time you've heard this term, don't run away! You'll see, it's fascinating. You'll understand that by looking back a little, we can decide to work on freeing ourselves from it and spread our wings. Céline has many strings to her bow. She is a psychogenealogist, but also, among other things, a state-certified nurse, naturopath, speaker, and creator of Body Reading. And to guide us step by step on the path of our ancestors, she has designed a method that she details in her book: "I stop suffering my past, 21 steps to free yourself (finally) from transgenerational repetitions." A fantastic book to take or (re)take our lives in hand.
The one who, as a child, dreamed of being a "doctor who heals through dreams," and who now lives extraordinary and wonderful adventures every day in the cave that serves as her office. The one who is now so experienced in investigating that she would certainly give lessons to Sherlock Holmes himself. The one whose reassuring voice strives to draw you into her world with great pedagogy, and whose gentleness and kindness envelop you in the blink of an eye. The one who knows how to love unconditionally. Céline, the caring, the witty, the positive with a big heart, accepted without hesitation my offer to chat with me.
Together, we talked about well-kept secrets, epigenetics, ghosts (but not the ones with the little white sheet and two holes for eyes), and also the fascinating fact that newborns are capable, without asking their opinion of course, of psychically duplicating the entirety of those who take care of them. We talked about Françoise Dolto, and then also about birthdays and our backpacks.
Let's go! With Céline today, we'll breathe life into your wings.
So listen carefully. Deploy them. And fly!
